Join Marc Kelly at the Lyric Theatre for an 8-week collaborative journey into the world of stand-up comedy! \nThe Funny Farm Comedy Workshop is about fostering a supportive environment where we grow together as comedians. Marc will facilitate a space where we learn from each other\, explore our comedic voices\, and build the confidence to share our unique perspectives on stage. \nWhether you’re a complete beginner or have some experience\, this workshop is about the shared experience of discovering and honing our comedic skills. We’ll learn the fundamentals of joke writing\, practice stage presence\, and conquer stage fright together. \nWhat You’ll Experience: \n\nShared Learning: Explore joke writing techniques and stage presence through group exercises and feedback.\nSupportive Environment: Build confidence and overcome nerves in a safe and encouraging space.\nCapstone Performance: Showcase your comedic journey at a live performance on March 28 th!\nCommunity and Connection: Connect with others who share your passion for comedy.\n\nContent Warning: Intro to Stand up Comedy creation can be offensive\, vulgar\, and laugh-out-loud amazing.
